The Acrobat: the last of the Rowan berries
Between them they’ve taken almost all of the berries off the tree.
The blackbirds are back this morning, (morning) rooting out the last of the berries. I've never seen blackbirds that tolerate one another in such close proximity before. - maybe they are part of the same brood.
Sunday:
Family zoom at 10am - which was as chaotic as ever, which is why I ended up watching the birds in the tree.
Andrew, from the camera club rang to ask for help - he's coming today to see me. It was good to catch up with his news and to know his new knee is working well and that his mum is now being looked after in a care home - and she likes it there.
An afternoon of taking photos of birds in the tree - wood pigeons, starlings and a mistle thrush were also visitors, followed by a series of online chats - GG, Lyn and finally a phone conversation with Pam in Danby - she's noticed the red rose on Annn's grave which my sister had left on Saturday. (My sister was word by the location as she hadn't visited before.)
