Peggy Jane

The old neighbors named their shed "Peggy Jane" she will be bulldozed very soon along with the beach cottage. It is sad as I have many fond memories of the cottage owners and even happenings centered around "Peggy Jane".

Old Sea Cottages Speak,
Of the briny wood and barnacle feet,
Of foghorn's belch and mermaid's greet,
And waves ever slapping refrain.

Time knows no beginning or end,
Old Buildings wave and wnd,
And the Words live on in the Wind...
