Our First Lilly Out

Not a good night as I went into AF just before going to bed. I did try to sleep but by 4am I had to get up because of the tightness in the chest. Luckily there was a good film on TV which kept my mind of things. 

When John got up around 8am I told him I wasn't good. He said he would take me up to the A& E After his breakfast. By the time I saw the person at reception my AF had settled a little. Instead of sending me in the A&E I was sent to the acute care until. After five hours to see a nurse, things were better but I was still short of breath. I had blood tests and then I saw a doctor. He wanted me to go into the A&E to be monitored. But after two hours, still no beds. He said I could wait for one or go home if I felt able to... which I did. He said next I would get monitored stright away. It has been a long day. I am alright at the moment it is just missing a few beats. Hopefully my AF will now be settled for many weeks!.
