Double scarfed

It was a chilly time in the stands for City’s match. I was thankful that I decided to bundle up and go double scarfed.

Exeter won 1-0 against Charlton so we warmed ourselves up celebrating that goal. We could have gone either way a couple more to keep us extra toasty.

A load of Charlton fans had come along and they were in great voice. I think they made more noise than our home fans despite there being 914/7347 of them.

A draw would probably have been a fair result as we were better first half and they were better in the second - but we will happily go away with the 3 points.

The ref and the linesman weren’t the greatest. The linesman did a few shoulder shrugs when he had to decide on throw ins as he clearly couldn’t tell whose ball it was. And one of the Charlton lads kept doing foul throw ins and he didn’t call any of them. He Leo doing them with one foot on pitch - by a clear margin too as we could all see it. I guess he wasn’t looking at his feet!
