Another step

Today was spent making these little purses as the number 1's for the advent calendars. These will hopefully hold the grandchildren's daily stash until the big day! By Christmas Day they will hopefully definitely have the same amount of money and some little treats along the way. All that's left to do is add the numbers to the envelopes and stuff them with said pennies and little treats and string them up. The money and the stringing will take place while I'm staying at mum's for her birthday week. I will be able to give them to the grandchildren on the day of the party which will be 30th November, perfect timing! Let's hope it all comes to plan.
Extra is a pretty rose blooming beautifully in the garden, at one end of the bench where I sit for a coffee break, weather permitting.
