Blood Brothers

Went to Leeds Grand Theatre tonight to see Blood Brothers. It's a really impressive old theatre with a grand staircase, royal colours and lots of intricate details. The play was great - I haven't seen it before (and didn't study it at school like many people my age) but can see why the story has become a classic. The guy playing Mickey was fantastic, the only negative being the overly-synthesized sound system which managed to make it sound like the singing wasn't live! (oh and of course the obligatory sweet bag rustlers behind me).
