Can you distinguish between original and imitation?

The blip shows the western facade Alte Pinakothek, an arts gallery. It is specialised in Old Master paintings and houses one of the biggest collections in that field.

The gallery was opened in 1836 to show the even then quite extensive collection of the Bavarian Wittelsbach kings. The building took rather heavy damage during several WWII air raids - a number of direct bomb strikes hit the structure. Fortunately, the paintings were already evacuated by that time. Alte Pinakothek was rebuilt 1946-1957 in such a fashion, so you can see and remember the old war wounds.
