Memorial

I suppose many village war memorials look like this today - the poppies placed there yesterday still look clean and have had just one overnight and a little daily traffic.

We were in Sainsbury's at 11:00, where the muzak was turned off and the manager announced the staff wanted to observe the 2 minute silence.
Most people just stopped and waited, but two decided their conversation had to continue .... it didn't sound important!
