All The Egrets!

While we were eating breakfast Brian suggested we take advantage of the sunny weather and go look for Blips before dealing with the tasks of the day. 

We took a drive out to Fiskerton fen, where we discovered that there was an influx of 25 to 30 egrets. Both Great White and Little Egrets were sitting in the reeds by the lake, occasionally having a fly around. I had not bothered to take my camera as I only expected to be taking scenery photos, and I lived to regret that decision. This was the best I could do in the circumstances. Brian had the sense to take his!

Otherwise I've dealt with mail, cuddled and examined the cat and done yoga for the first time in the new yoga room.  I did not get round to cleaning the kitchen, but I'm sure I will tomorrow.... Brian had an appointment this afternoon and I fielded an important phone call!
