A Great White

The weather today was nice and sunny and bright so this morning I suggested we took a drive out to get a blip. We headed out to Fiskerton Fen to hopefully enjoy a nice walk in lovely weather. So pleased we did as when we arrived we found lots of Egrets between 20 & 30  mainly Little Egrets but at least 3 Great White Egrets including this one captured in flight . After watching them for a while we decided to head for a walk along the river bank where we spotted a Buzzard see extra . On the way back another check on the Egrets where ne of the Great Whites was stood in the reeds in front of the hide again see extra shot. We did also have a harrier fly in but was soon sent on its way by the crows so no real clear shot of it sadly . Never mind nice to see all these bonus birds and a nice walk.
Back home for some lunch and then I had an appointment to attend this afternoon an now back home for a chilling evening with some general TV viewing
