November Sunshine

At last we’ve had sunny blue skies to lift the spirits!

I’ve had mixed success today trying to book people to fix things. A friend recommended a local franchise to clear out my gutters, and clean them and the soffits, fascias and windows. They returned my call promptly and emailed to confirm my booking on Wednesday morning for a quote to do the windows every 8 weeks and to do all the other work straight away. I know from my friend that their charges are fair. It will really spruce up the bungalow, which is looking a bit sad and neglected. I might get them to jet wash the flagstones and patio in the spring too. My tumble dryer has developed a fault, but neither of the two people I phoned to mend it have got back to me, so I will have to try and find a couple of other companies to call. So frustrating - don’t they want the work??

The Acer is now fully ablaze with colour, and looked spectacular in the November sunshine.
