Layers

After a busy morning (gym, shopping for my mother and delivery service to her house), I took this picture when I drove home. By then, the mist had lifted from the hills, but you can see how it still fills the valley (where P and I live) - and it also started to rain. 

Underneath the layers of clouds and fog, it was so dark that we had to switch the lights on at 3 p.m.. 

It’s mid-November, and it definitely feels like it.
