Monday

This CRT volunteer was adjusting the water levels of adjacent pounds.

The water in the pound below Marsh Lane bridge was very low. To remedy this, both the lock gates between the pounds were opened ajar. He watched and waited until he was happy equilibrium had been restored.

After she finished work, Florence, Hetty and I walked the long route into town. As Hetty and I waited for Florence outside The Emporium, Father Christmas walked by. Bit early for him!

By the time we were home again, it was dark and chilly.

Daughter says she could stay here forever. She has choir, which she loves, and an appointment at the end of the week so she'll have to go back. I think there will be a lot here and there for a long while yet.
