What difference sunshine makes?

After  days of overcast skies at last a glimpse of the sun and the effect on the Autumn colours glaringly obvious. On the hillside there is a full range of colours from the greens of Ivy to golden leaves of Oak trees in the background. Colder nights are now forecast which can only hasten the leaf drop.
