Afternoon chop!

A strong row up to Avoch against the wind and chop fetching up across the Firth. Into the harbour and back out to be met by the pleasant surprise of a drop in the wind. Whilst the wind assist on the return leg can be quite nice, the sideways chop makes for a difficult row, so the reduced wind was very welcome.

Chanonry Maid in the picture made it all the way too … with only 3 rowers.
