The wall on the right of the Blip is part of the remains of the Todmorden Joint Omnibus Bus garage.  It was a quite imposing building which housed all the town's buses in a roofed building.  Sometime in the 60s it was decided it was cheaper to remove the roof and lower the walls than repair the roof.  The buses are still kept there - behind the wall - but it always look rather derelict to me....
