Books
The evening was spent working at the theatre, the event was "Bokens afton", 'The evening of the book' or The book-evening. Five writers were invited to talk about their specific latest book but the evening is also a celebration to reading, or listening to books. The writers represented, apart from them selves, different fields of writing; the cook-book, the crime/novel, the family chronicle, the self-insight book, and the book about a famous building. Very encouraging: the theatre was full of reading people, willing to spend some money on books by the writers. I'd say the distribution of genders were a bit one-sided, about 95% were women. I refuse to think that only five percent men reads books, maybe they had other things to do instead.
Anyhow, an interesting evening and some extra money earned.
