Mono Monday 564 :: MM564 :: Remembrance

The 1914-15 Star, the British War Medal and the Victory Medal aka 'Pip, Squeak and Wilfred' plus a Military Medal. The trio are my great grandfather's original medals, this Military Medal is a reproduction as I have no idea where his original is. 

These hang in my office, a daily reminder of not only his part in WW1 but of the sacrifice many made in that and other conflicts since. 

I will not forget. 

At the Man's Shed today the machines and members fell silent for 2 minutes at 11am.
