Setting sun

Armistice day makes me think of Dad's uncles who served in WW1.
John Hamilton Clements served for USA in the 101st Field Artillary. As a child, I remember him, he probably suffered PTSD.
Charlies Sproule Clements served in the Royal Navy, lost when HM Submarine G7, declared dead on 1st November 1918, days before the end of the war, aged 27.
Oliver William Clements served in the Royal Navy from the age of 15, he definitely had PTSD & was invalided out of the Navy, again as a small child I remember him.
Thomas Lipton Clements served in the 9th Royal Inniskilling Fusiliers, shot in France on 23rd March 1918, aged 21.
So my great great grandparents lost 2 sons in WW1 during 1918, it must have been heartbreaking. I know many families suffered similar & worse tragedies. That is why they should never be forgotten.
