Monday: The Local

We are blessed with an excellent local hostelry.  Years ago, when we lived in the neighbourhood, it was the place where we forged many of our local connections.  Many of those relationships then became friendships outside the pub.

Many of the regulars are still there.  It’s to be remembered and to be able to slot back in.

That said, apart from one lone chap at the bar, we were the only people in tonight.  We’d popped in to celebrate buying a car - we take delivery on Wednesday which feels pretty exciting.
