Introduction to the seaside

Day 8 of our holiday

Today was IRMP's first trip to the seaside. Conditions for it were not ideal as it was uncomfortably hot and the soles of my feet burnt within the less than ten yards sprint from where we were sitting to the water's edge. As IRMP was being carried she didn't suffer at all. She was a little wary of the waves to begin with, but secure in her mother's arms she loved kicking her feet and splashing. What better introduction to the seaside than the Mediterranean.
