Armistice Day.
Gloriousl sunshine all day long for the first time since I got back to Blighty. A rather sharp cold air but it was so good to feel the sun on my face.
Late morning and Bro and I drove to Colchester to view a new build bungalow for sale. We sometimes talk about moving for various reasons, and an on line advert interested us enough to make an appointment to view. When we found the place, which took a while because we were looking for something that resembled the advertisement photo, we were annoyed (understatement) at the deception of the estate agent who have obviously used CGI to show a very elegant new bungalow apparently surrounded by green fields when the reality is that it is built off road on a small plot of in-fill land between falling down garages and ramshackle garden fences. We were there about three minutes, telling the agent that the location was not what we were looking for.
So as to make it not a wasted journey we took the 'pretty way' home passing some lovely buildings and lush green fields, and decided to stop at the Duke of Wellington in Hatfield Several for lunch. It's a Greene King pub with a great menu where we enjoyed a tasty meal with a pint of IPA to soothe our soul.
Back home early afternoon and time for 'walkies' when Rufus had an hour of immense woofer fun in the park.
The rest of today was quiet, at home, on line, and a couple of Netflix movies.
