Thyme.
Thyme was mentioned already 3000 BC as a drug.
The Egyptians cultivated plants, it said it could ward off evil spirits. Thyme was probably one of the first native Egyptian herbs used in embalming.

In ancient Greece and Rome they used thyme also to lubricate the dead.

In our garden it is only for their flowers.
