Poppy, clock and thermometer

Quite late I realised I was blip-deficient so settled on this; the poppy was one of the ones at the Tower of London a few years ago.

Quite glad to have left work, on the Sunday yesterday,  I would have been in charge of of the public remembrance day ceremony, stressful as a mess up is very public and getting all the dignitaries to obey was interesting.
Today, would have been another set of dignitaries and hoping the trumpeter turned up.
I would then have had to go to the match in my best suit.
