A forest of fungi at the side of the footpath on my way back from the allotment. They must have appeared overnight, because hoards of primary school children walk this way twice a day and they've hardly been kicked!

A morning in the Mind shop and I came away with a table top easel for £1.50 - bargain. I was expecting my son and his partner for dinner this evening, but unfortunately he has a stomach bug - it must be doing the rounds - and he thought it best to stay home. I agreed!

So I went to the allotment and got the broad bean seeds sowed, sorted out the chard seedlings and generally tidied, bringing back the rest of the beetroot.

Note - yesterday I started off some preserved lemons, never done before, an experiment!
