Haddo Revisited

Two weeks IainatCreel suggested that Mrs CBL and I should consider revisiting the grounds of Haddo House and old stomping ground of his.  We hadn’t been there for quite some time because having seen the devastation done to the grounds in the aftermath of Storms Arwen and Babette we had been greatly saddened by the sights we saw and had decided not to visit for the foreseeable future.

Whist there were still some areas of devastation that have an otherworldly look lots of work has been done to repair the damage in the past two and a half years. 

We were greatly heartened by the sights we saw and thoroughly enjoyed our visit.  Thanks for the nudge in the right direction, Iain!
