Tazones from the sea
Tazones was once a small fishing port - and still is, but now its major trade is tourism. Charles V inherited the kingdom of Spain (after the usual jostlings) when he was 19, and sailed for Santander to take possession, but his navigator missed and landed him in Tazones instead. So the first close sight of Spain that Charles will have had, is this one. It´s sure to have developed in the intervening centuries.
