Challenge

I went swimming in Glencorse Reservoir in the morning. I hadn't been swimming for about three weeks for various reasons so felt the drop in temperature, indeed a couple of people had wetsuits (I really can't be bothered with them). I played it safe and only swam 400m or so... 
The rest of the day was spent doing housework and reading.
In the evening, I went to band practice. We worked on an original composition for our new year au concert. I find improvisation very challenging and the chosen key was awful for alto saxophone (six sharps!) but I did what I could and enjoyed it!
