Eastern Phoebe
We have phoebes here year round - although it's possible, I suppose, that the phoebes that breed here go a bit further south for a winter vacation, and the ones we see here in the winter breed further north. But in any case, there are phoebes around all year. But they are insectivores, so they don't do the birdfeeder thing. Which means I'm always tickled when one actually presents itself near the bird feeding area for a photo.
It was an oddly phoebe filled morning, actually. I heard two of them shouting "phoebe" while I was walking, then saw several of them on the way back at the edge of the hayfield. And then this one came for a drink. Weird.
