annual day trip to Weston super mare today. left at 9.30 and it should have taken just over an hour to get there but we were held up on the motorway for about an hour! Lovely day out though and we did a lot of walking. This picture is taken from the end of the pier looking back to land. The tide was on its way out so people were taking the chance to have a paddle. In another 10 minutes the sea was 500 yards further out and only a few decided to try walking through the mud to reach it. Not a good idea.
