Another Snowdog… And Turnout at the Opera House…

… The Opera House is always pretty at night. This evening the lovely treat was Capercaille (for their 40th anniversary tour).

Aren’t we lucky in the UK to have such wonderful musicians? Including the ‘non famous’ ones, who have more talent in an eyelash than I do in my entire body, who have just not caught the attention of the so-called big guns. (Or social media).

I had a hearing test today..
Was locked in a padded shower cabinet with some headphones and a button to press. I have some hearing loss. (No surprise given my love of music since forever, when I was too young to know about ‘turning it down’).
They can do clever things now, and tell you lots about yourself from a hearing test.
I am, apparently, a surprisingly good ‘processor’. I think this means I’m a cleverer than average ‘guesser’, when I have failed to hear a word. She said, ‘this can be very exhausting’ (because a lot of my brain power is being used to pick up all non- verbal communication signals).

Ahh… That’ll be it then.
Too busy being clever to go to sleep.
