Out, in x 4

I like days best when I'm not out at all, or maybe only once. Today was not one of those days.

Started well as I woke before 6.30 and then had a good swim, faster than yesterday. But it was a lot colder outside, 3 deg.

Off on the bus to Roseburn. Plan has been to stay in town for lunch between le coiffeur and the financial meeting with K but the former finished at 11.30 so I decided to go home. A closed road and diversion at Donaldson's and v slow traffic on N Bridge meant the #31 took an hour. The poppies at the Scottish Monument have been swept away and the Christmas market cabins are being erected. The nursery school near Cameron Toll has a Christmas tree up, bah humbug.

Lunch was bread and cheese from Margiotta and I caught up with work emails, including the expected quick positive response before off on a #47 this time and arrived bang on time. Good meeting and then a #47 home. There was the beginning of a sunset, along with the moon by the time I got back, for the 3rd time.

Then 90 minutes on the phone to S, discussing next steps before some more food and Ch 4 news, which was dominated by the Archbishop news, not like the MOTD news on this morning's BBC.

The last out was to SCD, put my fleece on as it was clear and cold. I was so tired could barely stay awake at some pints and then in the strathspeys kept drifting off thinking about work I missed my place.

At last at home for the final time. Willow wanted lots of cuddles. I watched QI then bed.

I need an 8th day..
