Save chemistry

Graffiti and stickers are appearing on campus and around the library to try and stop a change to our chemistry department. I'm not sure the campaign will work.  I did a lot of data crunching on our publications in comparison with other universities a while ago so I've been aware of possible reorganisation. 
Went to a coffee morning for staff alumni and picked up a new pin for my lanyard. Data protection means that the staff database and alumni database cannot be linked so they drew us in with coffee and cake.  
Spin class after work and then watched my baker get eliminated from the bake off. I'll need to take in cakes for the rest of the staff sweepstake members next week.
