It must be monotonous crossing Scapa Flow everyday, plying between Lyness and Houton.  But, to stay on an island, Hoy, this is a well paid and secure job.  Job satisfaction is increased with an occasional beguiling visit to Flotta.

They had an easy trip with us this morning as there were only four cars, max is thirty.  Big wagons and the mobile library obviously reduce the number of cars that are carried.

I'm happy to report that Richard is a very good representative for Orkney Ferries.  He's always smiling and happy.  Always.  Sickening really.

But, the pressure will be on soon as I'm in sole charge of the Bolt Hole tonight.

The Ambassador has returned Blanche's kimono.  This can only mean one thing.
