Reading a book

I had to stay at home from work today, suffering from a stomach bug.
Tried to enjoy reading my new book in between running to the bathroom.
The main characters are troubled souls, trying to figure out their next steps in life - or if there are more steps to take?!
Rather a dark and depressive read, actually.
