A tick

I cannot remember the last time - if ever- that I have walked to a tick but today was that day with this Azorean Yellow-legged Gull at Newlyn. Perhaps not the most exciting or exotic one but they all count. Loafing around on the roof of the fish market, it was not a difficult one to spot and was perhaps more distinctive that I had expected..
The morning had been taken with a run to the recycling centre, walking on the banks of the Hayle, birding at Ryan's Field and cooking tonight's supper of Jamaican Goat curry. 
A hectic day....
