Mallards

It has been dreich all day, not a hint of sun at any time.  We had our usual Wednesday group meeting and the subject today was 'Nostalgia' ...... we were shown a series of slides of bygone days, the most interesting being portraits of famous people, and we had to guess who they were.  Not as easy as you might think!  

In the afternoon we had a walk at Rouken Glen, and Mr. and Mrs. Mallard posed beautifully for me.  Most of the leaves are down now, only a few hanging on, but there are some lovely carpets of leaves and with no wind they are not being blown around, so are nice to walk on.
