Quiet day
After yesterday's busy times, it's been good just to stay at home and catch up with a few things: sending mural images in to ArtUK; doing some Greek language work; tying up some loose ends by email with Photo Society members, following last week's exhibition.
Towards the end of the afternoon I took the camera out into the front garden, where Daphne Mezereum is just coming into flower. I usually associate these tiny, scented blooms with real winter weather, when little or nothing else is in flower; but for now, in the absence of any frosts, it's still surrounded by vibrant fuchsia blossoms.
