Curvy!
Mid morning I had a drive to the cashpoint a couple of miles up the road and on the way home, stopped at Weir End, Ross on Wye (Herefordshire UK) to take an aerial photograph of a curve in the River Wye.
The W-I-D-E on Wednesday theme is 'Curvy' and the bend in the River at Weir End shows natures effort of a natural curve. A beautiful sunny day the photograph was shot towards the sun and the plough lines on the farm field contrast nicely.
Early afternoon we took a trip back to Gilwern where we were cycling yesterday. I lost the key to my bike and luckily I managed to find it so saved me getting my spare one recut! We had an hour in nearby Abergavenny to buy some 'Welsh' items to send to our German friends in Germany which I need to get posted in the next day or so: They send us a Christmas parcel and the swap seems to have become a lovely yearly tradition! What war?!
