Once rarely seen, the little egret is now fairly common along the estuary. Rising temperatures have caused increasing numbers to arrive from the mediterranean.
Unfortunately for me, they seem to hear the sound of my bike, and fly away before I can get the camera out.
Extra: The blow up egret did not prove to be a successful lure.
