Bristol Christmas Market

Beautiful autumn day, sunny, cold and crisp. After an early flying visit to the post office, caught the bus into Bristol then a quick change onto a second bus up Gloucester Road to the dentist for an OPG X-ray. That was also a flying visit, I was in and out before my appointment was even due! A third bus back to the city centre where I had a look around the Christmas market and a few shops, followed by a fourth bus, home by lunchtime.

I was born in Bristol, and spent years studying and working there, but now I find it too big, too busy and too many sad sights. Having said that, I can’t fault the bus network. The stop I needed for the dentist was on eight different bus routes, with a bus every few minutes; so much better than my single once an hour bus!
