Death From the Sky

Ms Barred Owl was back early this morning, perched on 'her' favorite observation limb above the pond. The sun was just coming up and as I watched, she dropped down to the bog, splashed around a bit and then flew up into a small tree directly above where the last remaining bullfrog hides out. I know where Froggy hides and so does the Owl. During all of this drama, Fletcher was running around in the yard, and without realizing it, annoyed 'Death From the Sky' (my term of affection for Ms Owl) and off she flew. Owl needs to hunt elsewhere for breakfast, Froggy gets to live another day, and I got the shot!
It was a lot of drama for so early in the morning!
