Like herding cats

Over in Glasgow today, helping my friend Tim take the cats (Ant and Dec) to the vets for their yearly check, however, all did not go to plan. Though both were meant to be going to the vets, we could only get Ant into the cat carrier and despite me chasing Dec all over the place, he escaped. Oh, as part of me chasing Dec, I ended up falling over at one point, but it was rather funny, as it was like a fall in slow motion … no damage done.

Anyway, Ant was checked and needed to have blood tests and it turns out he has a hyperthyroid, which needs some medication, bless him.

Afterwards, we went to see Liz in hospital and sadly, she did not recognise me and I doubt she recognised her husband, so sad.

Leaving the hospital and driving through Glasgow during rush hour was horrendous, with most streets gridlocked, not helped by temporary lights. I eventually dropped Tim at home and got back to Edinburgh.

Now relaxing and about to watch ‘Shetland’.

Take care all and be kind.

P.S. the photo is of Kelvin Court, a 1930s art deco apartment block in Anniesland, wet Glasgow.
