Threemilestone

Today I sent off late morning to drive down to Treen. Not a bad journey except the sun is low in the sky and I am driving West. Which meant that the sun was in my eyes for most of the journey - a nuisance but never mind. En route I called in to see Sandy at Threemilestone who has been refurbishing a vintage Ercol suite for me. Bottom left in the photo. If all goes according to plan, Sandy and Mark will deliver them to me on Thursday morning. I dropped off a chair (top left) that I want sanding down and waxing. It belonged to my late maternal grandfather (died before I was born) and has a note on the bottom - so it is of sentimental value to me. While I was there Sandy showed me another Ercol chair she is sorting out (bottom right). I said I would think about it. Top right is another Ercol chair which needs a bit of remedial work. Lovely qualtity furniture all of these things.
