Invasive

A lovely, sunny, river walk this afternoon and then we came across …………This, apparently, is an “Invasive weed control area” according to the little sign on the right. And, there is an instruction to “Keep Out?

I have no idea what this all means and where the invasive weeds came from. It doesn’t look like they grew there.
