Jeanette, Mandy, Julie & myself met for coffee before heading into a travel agent to discuss and book our trip to Barbados next July. Jeanette & I had'nt seen Julie for 50 odd years so it was wonderful. My silly suggestion - "We should go & see Jane in Barbados to celebrate our 70th birthdays" will become a reality. We WhatsApped Jane in Barbados while in the agents just to get our facts straight. Jane had suggested an air bnb for our stay but Mandy & Julie preferred to stay in a hotel, we settled on two shared rooms with kitchenette facing the beach, near to where Jane lives.
