Derek Forbes

Out tonight to see Derek Forbes at St. Luke’s, doing an interview and audience Q&A (some good audience questions) followed by a performance with his band ‘The Dark’.

Derek was the bass player in Simple Minds for their first 7 albums, so definitely during their ‘imperial phase’.

Some good chat from him (a great sense of humour), and a really great performance from him and the band. The interviewer unfortunately I thought was pretty poor.
But hey, as Meat Loaf said - 2 out of 3 ain’t bad.  ;)
