Show Day

Today was show day and it was sunny, which makes a change. It was a really fun day too. Having some friends around too meant that the kids races almost stole the show being so funny. Boy joined in and given he is not yet built for speed he smilled his way through every race enjoying every second of his extra time in each one than that of his competitors.

Girl had already stolen the show and a prize winning a third in one of the childrens classes for her clay tile she made at school. Her first show and a winner, can't be bad. I was so excited that it made my entries quite carefree even if I did do ok.

Other results of the day were Wife getting a first for flapjacks and a couple of highly commended in other baking catagories. I managed a third, three seconds and a first in the photography, but it was Girl's third that was the most rewarding.

The fun day in the sun took its toll leaving us all as tired as the morris men after their shenanigans.
