Fallen leaves
I went for a short walk at Shubie Park this afternoon, looking for a few photos for a FB challenge. I noticed the leaves at the edge of the dock, so was able to get down to get a photo of them.
I enjoyed the concert last night. Using Uber for the first time was a bit of a learning curve. I booked it in advance to get there which made it more expensive, but that was alright. The driver was nice and he told me how to get an Uber to come home, since we didn't know what time we would get out onto the street or where we would get out. The first time I tried, it would not read my location. It wanted to send me to the other side of the building from where we were. Karen has some mobility problems right now and can't walk that far. The second time I tried, I had to search for my location, and it worked. We just had to cross the street.
By the time we got back here it was almost 11 pm. By the time I settled down and got to sleep it was close to midnight. And I still had to get up at the same time, 6:15 am.
It was a cold and windy day, not nice if you are trying to rake leaves. We did get 3 places done, they were sheltered from the worst of the wind. But it was only 12:30 when we finished them. We stopped at one other place, but decided not to stay there to work, the area that needed to be done was like a wind tunnel.
Tomorrow is the same kind of weather. One of my clients wanted some pea stone topped up at the side of her house, so I checked with my delivery guy to see if he could deliver it either this afternoon or first thing tomorrow. He was able to do it this afternoon. If I can't find another place to work that is out of the wind, I will have everyone over here to finish digging the plants I am taking with me and I can get them to help organize the garage, since we will be moving things from there on Friday.
