The richly cream flowers of this plant caught my eye in our reserve. It's Billardiera scandens, a twining member of much Eastern Aust. bushland, I gather. Named after a French botanist in the 1700s, the first to collect species of Tasmanian plants. Amazing to think what circumstances those early botanists must have endured in their quest for new plants!
